Job Title: Oncology OBGYN Nurse

Job Description

Join a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to providing top-tier oncology care. As an Oncology Nurse, you will play a critical role in patient care, working closely with healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of comprehensive treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Gather comprehensive patient histories.
• Interpret lab results and obtain blood specimens.
• Support providers in creating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation for assigned patient care.
• Manage phone calls related to referrals and schedule patient tests, procedures, and hospital admissions.
• Schedule appointments to follow up on test results.
• Perform various administrative duties such as typing, filing, faxing, and reception.
  
  

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Nurse.
• 2+ years of experience in Gynecology.
• Texas State Board of Nursing License.
• Proficiency in oncology nursing.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-sufficiency and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, administrative skills, phlebotomy, and electronic medical records.

Work Environment

This role offers a supportive and culturally rich work environment with opportunities for team building and open communication. Work hours are from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts. Employees enjoy benefits such as accumulating 5 hours of PTO per pay period, a 401K with a 3% match, and two different insurance plans.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Katy, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $47.00/hr.
