Posted over 4 years ago by Aelyn Abardo

Dear ANNA Gulf Coast  204  members,

As part of my duty as your President-elect, I officially open the election for the office of the Health Policy Representative.

Here are the two candidates for the position:
Bakare, Genene "Joy"

Hello, My name is Genene “Joy” Bakare. I prefer to be called Joy. I am currently a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care Southwest Houston area. I absolutely love being a Dialysis Nurse. I started my career with Fresenius in 2012 in NY as a floor Nurse. After two years, I join Fresenius Travel Department which landed me in Dallas. I took a Clinic Manager position at a mitigation clinic and was able to lead our team out of mitigation within a year. In 2018 I took a position as a Care Navigation/ ESCO Nurse and was able to reach some of our most difficult patients. I am interested in running for Health Policy Representative because I want to be a part of helping to uphold and support the mission of the ANNA. I want to be a voice for my fellow Dialysis Nurses. I love interacting, supporting and encoring change, debating and talking to people. I have a strong passion for what I do. Thank You and I look forward to your support.
